COVID-19 Response – Public Access Changes

Our temporary measures in response to the current COVID-19 situation.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, while we have been working hard to ensure we have measures in place for the health and safety of the community, our staff and our animals.

Public access by appointment only

Public access will be arranged by appointment, for successful adoption applications, lost and found animals.


All adoptions are currently via adoption form. You’ll find all our animals for adoption, on the animals for adoption section of our website, and each animal has a link to apply for them under their bio. Meetings will be conducted by appointment only for successful applicants.

If you’ve applied recently (prior to 26/3) please reapply we currently have a backlog of over 500 emails in our mailbox we are working though.

We’re working hard to contact shortlisted applicants within 7 days to arrange an appointment.


As we are experiencing such high volumes of enquiries, please do not contact us in relation to fostering right now. We’ll update our website and Facebook when we’re asking for help again.

We are very grateful for the unprecedented response we’ve had from the public in relation to fostering. We now have over 50 animals in foster care and already have over 200 further requests we’re working through before we’ll consider taking any more.
