For the past 30 years, the team at Save-A-Dog Scheme has worked tirelessly to rescue,
care for and re-home thousands of cats and dogs.
Now, Save-A-Dog Scheme has begun a new chapter in its journey. In addition to the Glen Iris facility, which is owned by Stonnington and operated by Save-A-Dog Scheme, it has acquired a property at Yarrambat.
When completed, the 33 acre property will have room for 190 dogs and 50 cats, meaning that hundreds more companion animals across Victoria will have a second chance of finding a home. It also means that Save-A-Dog Scheme will have a guaranteed forever home – just like the animals it cares for.
But the property, as it stands, is simply not suitable to meet the needs of an animal shelter. That’s where your help is needed!
The Scheme has launched a fundraising appeal for its Yarrambat Shelter and encourages you to use this form to make a tax deductible donation towards the infrastructure that is vital to the building of this new shelter. Now, more than ever, the animals need your help.
