Meet Lovey, a beautiful Greyhound who has found herself looking for a new home through absolutely no fault of her own. Despite this big change in her life, Lovey is a girl who loves people and enjoys having her humans nearby. She's looking for a loving family who will give her the time, patience and reassurance she needs to settle in and feel safe.

Lovey's previous owners advised that she experiences separation anxiety, and she has been on anxiety medication. We are currently working on gradually transitioning her off this medication while getting to know her needs and helping her adjust. Her future family will need to be understanding of her anxiety and prepared to provide a calm, predictable environment where she can build confidence at her own pace. Lovey would love a home where someone is around most of the time, as human companionship is especially important to her.

When it comes to other dogs, Lovey is happy to coexist with them, but she's not looking for a best friend to play with all day. She prefers to have her own space and spend time with her people rather than constantly interact with other dogs. She would suit a home that respects her boundaries and allows her to enjoy the company of other dogs without expecting her to be overly social.
