Fenrir is a very smart Mastiff cross who is finding life in the shelter quite stressful. While the shelter environment can be overwhelming for him, there is a lovely dog underneath who is ready for the opportunity to settle into a home of his own.

Fenrir is friendly with other dogs, although he does seem to favour some over others. He can enjoy a bit of playtime but tends to lose interest after a while, so he will need ongoing opportunities to socialise with suitable dogs and continue developing his dog-to-dog skills.

Fenrir can become jumpy and mouthy when excited, so he will need an experienced handler who can provide firm, consistent guidance and clear boundaries. He is a clever boy who will benefit from ongoing training, structure and an owner who understands how to channel his energy in a positive way.

Due to Fenrir's size and his sometimes boisterous, puppy-like behaviour, he would be best suited to a home with older children or adults only. He is partially toilet trained and has plenty of potential to blossom once he is out of the shelter environment. With the right person to guide him, he has all the makings of a wonderful companion.
