Leela is a sweet girl who forms lovely bonds with her people, although she can take a few days to settle into a new environment. Once she feels safe, her affectionate personality begins to shine through.

Leela is very worried around other dogs and will react if they invade her personal space. While she has shown she can comfortably coexist with another calm dog that gives her space, she is happiest when she doesn't have to interact with them. She can be quite vocal in her kennel, but this settles once she feels comfortable and secure.

Leela is looking for a patient, adult-only home where she can be the only dog and continue building her confidence at her own pace. With time, understanding and plenty of love, she will reward her new family with unwavering loyalty and companionship.
