Dusty is a lovely older gentleman looking for a secure, loving home where he can enjoy the next chapter of his life. While shelter life has been a little overwhelming for him, he's remained a sweet and affectionate boy who is ready to form a strong bond with his new family.

Dusty has shown some signs of separation anxiety in the shelter environment, although it's difficult to know whether this will carry over into a home. Because of this, we'd love to see him with someone who is home more often than not, giving him the time and reassurance to settle in at his own pace. He has integrated well with other dogs during his time in our care. As Dusty was desexed later in life, he may occasionally display some dominant behaviours around other dogs, so any introductions should be managed appropriately. He could happily live with a compatible canine companion or equally enjoy being the centre of attention as an only dog.
