Homer is a sweet natured boy that can be a little nervous when first meeting new people or dogs, but he warms up quickly once he feels comfortable. He absolutely loves his people and enjoys being close to them whenever he can.

On lead Homer can get a little excitable and boisterous when spotting other dogs, though if another dog comes in with too much energy he can become unsure and prefer to avoid the situation. He has been socialised with a variety of dogs while in our care and has shown he is happiest with dogs that match his calmer, balanced play style. Off lead with an excited dog, he found her energy a little overwhelming and mostly tried to move away, while with another like minded dog, the pair matched each other perfectly, happily co-existing and enjoying some rough play together.

Homer’s favourite pastime is rolling around in the grass and dirt, soaking up every bit of fun he can. He will suit a home that can continue building his confidence, provide ongoing socialisation and give him the love and reassurance he thrives on.
