Homer is a sweet-natured boy who can be a little nervous when first meeting new people or dogs, but he warms up quickly once he feels comfortable. He absolutely loves his people and enjoys being close to them whenever he can. We've noticed some separation anxiety while in our care, so Homer will need a home where someone is around most of the time to help him feel safe and secure as he settles into his new life.

On lead, Homer can get a little excitable and boisterous when spotting other dogs. He enjoys rough-and-tumble play with dogs who match his play style, but he also has good communication skills and will politely tell another dog off if they're getting a little too much for him. He's happiest with balanced, like-minded dogs who understand his boundaries and are comfortable with a bit of rough play. He would benefit from continued positive socialisation to help him build confidence and navigate new situations calmly.

Homer's favourite pastime is rolling around in the grass and dirt, soaking up every bit of fun he can. As a strong, energetic boy, he'll need an owner who can provide consistent training, clear boundaries and a firm but fair approach to help him become the best version of himself. Homer is looking for a committed home that can offer him plenty of companionship, guidance and reassurance. With the right support, he'll make a loving and loyal companion who will bring plenty of personality and fun to his family's life.
