Buffy is a big girl with an even bigger heart. This lovely lady absolutely adores people and has a gentle, affectionate nature that shines through the moment you meet her. She’s the kind of dog that just wants to be close to her humans and soak up all the love she can get.

That said, Buffy is a strong girl—both in size and personality—so she’ll need an experienced owner who is confident handling large breeds. On lead she can walk nicely alongside other dogs, but she doesn’t appreciate them getting up in her face, likely due to limited socialisation in her past. For this reason, Buffy will need to be the only animal in the home where she can feel comfortable and not be pushed beyond her limits. Because of her strength, Buffy would be best suited to a home with older children or adults who can safely manage her size and enthusiasm. She’s currently working on her toilet training and has had some foundation in the past, so with consistency and routine, she’s well on her way to mastering it.

Buffy is looking for someone who understands big dogs—their needs, their quirks, and the incredible companionship they offer. In the right home, she’s going to be an incredibly loyal and loving best friend
