Lucy is a fun, social girl who loves being around people and taking in everything going on around her. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she’s not overly reliant on them for entertainment and is often more interested in her humans and her surroundings. She has shown she can mix well with a variety of dogs. With calm, larger dogs she’s friendly but not overly playful, preferring to do her own thing. When paired with more active dogs, Lucy really comes out of her shell and happily matches their play style. She can be a bit “teethy” during play, but it’s all in good fun and she responds well to appropriate playmates. With very energetic puppies, she may reach a point where she’s had enough, but she shows good communication and doesn’t tend to escalate. Lucy would suit a home that understands dog play dynamics and can provide her with the right outlets for her energy, along with plenty of human interaction. She’s a well-rounded girl with a great mix of independence and sociability, ready to find her perfect match.
