Sonny is a fun-loving boy with a big personality… and an even bigger love for food! He’s currently a little overweight, so he’ll need a home committed to managing his diet and helping him get back to a healthier size—something that will greatly benefit his overall wellbeing. He’s partially toilet trained and will continue to improve with routine and consistency in the home. With other dogs, Sonny can be a bit vocal when he first sees them, but this settles quickly and he becomes neutral. He’s not overly fussed about playing, though with time and the right match, he may engage a little more. He’s shown that he respects other dogs’ boundaries-when told off for getting too close , he simply backs off without escalating. Sonny would suit a home that can provide structure, continue his basic training, and help him on his health journey, all while enjoying his easygoing and playful nature.
