Albert is little stiff in his joints and has a suspected melanoma. After careful consideration, we have chosen not to put him through surgery, as we are not sure he would pull through and the recovery might be too much for him. Right now, Albert has a good quality of life. He isn’t in pain. He still enjoys his days, following his carers and asking for treats. More than anything, he simply deserves to be loved for however long.. or short, his time may be. Albert is dog friendly, however given his age and condition, we feel he would be best suited as the only dog in the home where he can enjoy a calm, relaxed environment and all the attention to himself.

What Albert needs:

• A quiet adult home
• Gentle, slow walks
• A garden to potter around in
• A warm bed and kind hands

We are looking for a long-term/palliative foster home where Albert can spend his remaining time feeling safe, comfortable and cherished. Our team will continue to support his care, he just needs the home.
