Nicki has found her way back to us through no fault of her own, and her previous owner had nothing but lovely things to say about her. Now, we’re determined to find her the right home where she can truly thrive. She is a sensitive girl who can become easily overwhelmed in new environments and unfamiliar situations. Nicki is still learning how to navigate the world at her own pace and will need a calm, understanding home that can give her the time and space she needs to settle. Nicki absolutely loves the company of other dogs and really enjoys playtime. That said, she is still learning how to regulate herself and can become a bit over the top. She hasn’t yet met a dog confident enough to set clear boundaries with her, so she will need guidance to help her understand when to switch off and relax. She can be a little shy when meeting new people and would be best suited to a quieter household with no young children. An experienced adopter who understands dog behaviour and can support both her sensitive nature and her playful energy will give her the best chance at success. With patience, consistency, and the right environment, Nicki has so much potential to grow into a well-balanced, happy companion—she just needs someone willing to guide her there
