Bruno is a young pup with a big personality and an even bigger journey ahead of him. Although microchipped as a Cavalier, his personality and traits are more in line with Maltese/Shih Tzu breeds. He came into care with his brother, and while both boys are full of energy and potential, they will need experienced homes that can guide them as they grow into well-rounded dogs. Bruno can be wary of larger dogs and has shown reactive tendencies when he feels threatened, though he generally does better around smaller dogs. With careful, positive socialisation and patient training, Bruno has every chance to learn how to navigate the world with more confidence. He will also need regular grooming to keep him comfortable and looking his best. Because of his needs, Bruno is not suitable for first-time dog owners. We know he will receive lots of interest, but we kindly ask that only experienced dog owners apply—those with the time, patience, and resources to help Bruno become the best version of himself.
