Boss is a large, powerful boy who is looking for an experienced owner to guide him in the right direction. Before coming into care, Boss didn’t have much structure in his life, so he’s still learning the basics of training and good manners. He can show dominant behaviours at times, which means his new family will need to be confident, consistent, and proactive with his training and socialisation. Boss does seem to enjoy the company of other dogs, provided they give him his space, but he can get a little overexcited and boisterous in play. Because of his strength and determined nature, Boss needs someone capable of handling a big, strong dog and willing to put in the time and effort to help him thrive. With clear boundaries, training, and plenty of guidance, Boss has the potential to become a loyal and devoted companion.
