Adoption fee: $900 Meet Lewis, a gorgeous German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) who is new to our shelter and slowly settling into his new surroundings. When Lewis first arrived, he was a bit scared and standoffish, unsure of his new environment. But with time, he's becoming more comfortable and showing his true, sweet nature. Energetic and playful, Lewis is a ball of fun, always ready for an adventure. He’d thrive in a home with an active lifestyle, where he can burn off his energy and get plenty of exercise. Though he's full of life, he’s also affectionate and loves to bond with those around him. Lewis would do well with an owner who can offer him some consistent training to help him become the best dog he can be. One thing to note about Lewis is that he has a quirky issue with his back legs- some might not notice it at first, but his back end seems to dip downward more than normal. While it looks slightly unusual, it doesn’t affect him in any way, and he moves around just fine. We suspect it’s a result of being confined to a small crate for much of his life before coming to us. Lewis is ready to find a home where he can get the love, care, and attention he deserves. If you're looking for a sweet and energetic companion, Lewis just might be the perfect match!
