Tessa has made incredible progress in our care and continues to grow into a loyal, loving companion. She will need an experienced, confident handler, as she can be protective of her surroundings and is not suitable to live with or around livestock. While Tessa has improved her interactions with other dogs, she would prefer to be the only dog in her new home. She does, however, do very well with cats. Her future owner will need to be physically strong and strong-willed, offering clear boundaries and consistency. In return, Tessa gives her whole heart — she adores human company and is an absolute cuddle bug who loves being close to her people.
