Byron is a handsome senior gentleman with a heart full of love and affection to give. After spending 10 years in a home, he has sadly found himself back at SADS, and is now searching for a forever family to spend his golden years with.

Byron is an incredibly sweet and friendly boy who truly enjoys the company of people. He is very people focused and happiest when he can be near his humans, whether that’s relaxing beside you on the couch, following you around the house, or soaking up gentle affection and attention.

He has lovely medium energy levels and still enjoys playtime, especially when string toys are involved. Byron has a playful side that shines through once he feels comfortable, and he would love a home where he can enjoy both fun interactive games and peaceful naps in cosy spots around the house.

Byron is currently on a veterinary prescribed trial diet to help manage some digestive sensitivities, so his new family will need to follow his feeding plan closely to support his ongoing health and wellbeing.

Byron could happily live with cat savvy children or adults who will respect his gentle nature and give him the love and companionship he deserves. As an indoor-only cat, he will need a safe and secure home environment where he can feel comfortable and protected.

Byron is ready to leave shelter life behind and settle into a home filled with warmth, kindness, and companionship. In return, he promises to be a loyal, loving, and wonderful companion to the lucky family who gives him a second chance!
