Rakali's story is one of resilience, determination, and second chances. She and her siblings arrived in our care as kittens, desperately unwell with severe, untreated cat flu. Their future was uncertain, and they required intensive care, medication, and countless hours of dedication from shelter staff to help them recover. Thanks to that care, and their own fighting spirit, Rakali and her siblings pulled through and blossomed into the happy, healthy kittens they are today.

While some of her siblings are quick to leap into every adventure, Rakali prefers to take a more thoughtful approach to life. Gentle and a little tentative when faced with new situations, she likes to take her time getting to know people and her surroundings. Once she feels safe, however, her affectionate and playful nature shines through. She loves spending time with her trusted people, enjoys gentle play sessions, and can often be found curled up alongside her siblings for a nap.

Rakali takes great comfort in the company of other cats and gains confidence from having a feline friend by her side.
