Jaz arrived at the shelter alongside her siblings after being found as strays. Having had very limited positive exposure to people early in life, Jaz and her siblings are currently very flighty and fearful in the shelter environment and are still learning that humans can be safe and kind.
At this stage, Jaz is not yet ready for adoption and will require a foster home where she can begin building confidence and adjusting to life in a home environment. While she is still uncertain about handling and touch, we believe that with time, patience, and gentle encouragement, Jaz has every chance to continue progressing and come out of her shell.
We are seeking experienced and compassionate foster carers who understand shy or undersocialised kittens and who can dedicate the time needed to help Jaz and her siblings feel safe, secure, and supported over the next 4–6 weeks.
A calm household with a consistent routine will help Jaz gain confidence at her own pace. Watching these kittens slowly learn to trust and blossom can be an incredibly rewarding experience for the right foster home.
