Vlad arrived at the shelter alongside his siblings after being found as strays. Having had very limited positive exposure to people early in life, Vlad and his siblings are currently very flighty and fearful in the shelter environment and are still learning that humans can be safe and kind.

At this stage, Vlad is not yet ready for adoption and will require a foster home where he can begin building confidence and adjusting to life in a home environment. While he is still uncertain about handling and touch, we believe that with time, patience, and gentle encouragement, Vlad has every chance to continue progressing and come out of his shell.

We are seeking experienced and compassionate foster carers who understand shy or undersocialised kittens and who can dedicate the time needed to help Vlad and his siblings feel safe, secure, and supported over the next 4–6 weeks.

A calm household with a consistent routine will help Vlad gain confidence at his own pace. Watching these kittens slowly learn to trust and blossom can be an incredibly rewarding experience for the right foster home."
