Furphy is a sweet and gentle cat who has only ever known one home before being surrendered to SADS. Though he is still adjusting to his new surroundings, Furphy’s kind nature is already starting to shine through. He is a mellow boy with a big heart, eager to find a family who will appreciate his calm demeanour and loving personality.

Furphy has previously lived with a cat-savvy dog, so he is no stranger to sharing his space with canine companions. He is friendly, but is a little shy as he gets used to his new environment. He enjoys a quiet spot to relax and observe his surroundings, and while he is not overly demanding of attention, he loves being in the company of those who are gentle with him.

Although we are still getting to know him, he will need a family who understands that he may take a little time to fully settle in, but once he does, he will be a loyal and loving friend. With his calm nature and potential to get along with cat-savvy dogs, Furphy could be a perfect addition to a home looking for a sweet, low-maintenance cat.
