Lil Lady is a gentle and affectionate girl who has found herself at the shelter through no fault of her own.

Lil Lady would do best in a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe, loved, and settled - somewhere peaceful, with a patient family who are around to enjoy her affectionate and people-focused nature.

With her medium haired coat, she will require a regular grooming schedule to keep matts at bay.

Lil Lady was found to have a heart murmur. She was referred to a veterinary cardiologist, and further investigations revealed that she has a complete atrioventricular septal defect (AVSD), with large atrial and ventricular septal defects. At this stage, there is no evidence of congestive heart failure, and no treatment is required.

Due to the presence of a complete AVSD, Lil Lady’s long-term prognosis is guarded and her life expectancy is expected to be shorter. Despite this, she is currently bright, comfortable, and enjoying life, and we are hopeful to find her a compassionate palliative home where she can be cherished for however long she has ahead of her. Palliative foster care arrangements can also be discussed with our team.
