Big Ted is a gentle, older soul who has unfortunately found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own. When he first arrived, Big Ted was understandably shut down and unsure, but with time and kindness, he has started to truly blossom. Now, he is looking for a peaceful retirement home where he can spend his golden years stretched out on a sunny couch or quietly keeping you company by your side!

Big Ted would do best in a calm environment, ideally an adult only home or one with gentle, cat-savvy teenagers. While we are still getting to know his preferences around other cats, we understand he previously lived with a small dog and may be comfortable with a quieter, calm and respectful canine companion.
