Amaretto’s journey has not been easy.

She arrived absolutely terrified, pregnant, alone, and with no sign she had ever experienced gentleness from humans. Despite this, she poured her heart into raising her kittens, who have all now found loving homes.

Now it’s Amaretto’s turn to find a place where she can feel safe, loved, and peaceful.

She is still learning to trust. Pats and cuddles are a work in progress, but Amaretto has discovered the joy of play - she comes alive chasing string toys and ping pong balls, and it is in these moments her personality really shines through.

Amaretto needs a calm, adult only home with someone patient and understanding—someone who will give her the time she needs to come out of her shell.
