Nelly is one of our newest arrivals who was lucky enough to head straight into a foster home, where she has been settling in beautifully. Her foster carer describes her as a very loving and affectionate girl who enjoys being around people and having a cuddle. She walks wonderfully on lead and absolutely loves getting out for her daily walks, so she would suit a home that is happy to keep her active. Nelly has also proven to be a quick learner, picking up how to use the dog door and toilet outside within just a day. At home she is calm and well behaved, happily sleeping on her own at night and not chewing or damaging anything. She can be a little vocal when she wants attention, but settles quickly once boundaries are set. Nelly has shown curiosity around the household cat but has been gentle and even a little cautious when the cat isn’t impressed!
