Meet Gizmo, a handsome Rottweiler mix who is new to the shelter. Unfortunately, Gizmo was surrendered through no fault of his own, and he’s now looking for a loving family to give him the fresh start he deserves. Like many Rottweilers, Gizmo is still finding his way in the world, having not had much exposure to socialization or new experiences in his past home. While Gizmo is still adjusting to his new environment, he has shown no signs of aggression toward other dogs at the shelter. However, his lack of socialization means he is still learning how to interact appropriately. In his previous home, Gizmo had an altercation with other dogs, which is likely a result of limited social exposure rather than any inherent aggression. Gizmo is a strong, intelligent, and loyal dog, ready to bond with a patient, strong and experienced owner who can provide him with the training and structure he needs.
