When Poppy and her 4 siblings first arrived at the shelter they were a bit timid and confused. They are going to grow into big dogs and now that they are settling in, the various personalities are becoming visible. Poppy loves people and when all the other pups are playing she is content to sit in your lap and watch. As she is a country girl she needs to be out and about experiencing and feeling comfortable with a more suburban life. Her human companion will need to be experienced with dog behaviour so they can instill into Poppy the confidence she needs. She may not necessarily need to live with another canine but as she is so people focused it will be a must for her to move into a home where her humans are around most of the time. Poppy could possibly live with older children in their teenage years.
