When Stockings first arrived, she was extremely fearful of people, but with time, patience, and gentle care, she has grown in confidence and now enjoys gentle affection.

She is trying her best every day to trust us, though she can still be startled by sudden movements or loud noises. Because of this, Stockings is looking for a quiet, indoor-only home with an experienced cat owner who understands the needs of fearful and timid cats, and is prepared to be patient with Stockings on her journey in a home.

A calm, adult only environment will give her the best chance to continue building trust and confidence at her own pace.
