Striking Jonathan recently arrived at the shelter, with a large abscess on his neck and what appeared to be a significant eye injury. He saw our vets and it was clear that he had lived quite a colourful life on the streets due to his rough appearance and healed injuries. What was interesting was Jonathan's confident and friendly nature towards people. It was apparent that he had been owned by someone at some stage and we are unsure of what life Jonathan had lived prior to arriving at SADS. The vet team have assessed his eye, and although it was likely caused by some traumatic incident, it has healed and does not require surgery.
Although we are still getting to know Jonathan, we are confident that:

• he would like to be the only feline in his new home;
• he must live in an adult only home;
• he must be indoors only - and we are sure that is the only way he would like to be as he adores human company
