Pepita arrived at the SADS Cattery as a very young, pregnant cat who was extremely fearful of people. Now that her kittens have grown up and found their own forever homes, it's Pepita's turn to find a loving family to call her own. Pepita has made slow but steady progress here at the shelter due to the ever-changing environment. The constant change has made it challenging for her to feel comfortable and establish a routine.
Pepita was been placed in a foster home, and the difference was been almost immediate! Although she remains shy, she's now accepting affection, purring, and beginning to show her more curious side. She’s shown that she is very interested and eager to meet other cats in the household.
Pepita is seeking a home where she can slowly acclimate and build confidence with a consistent routine and a supportive owner. She would thrive in a home with a friendly resident cat, and will need to be an indoor-only feline.
