Mustang will require an experienced cat owner to help him gain confidence in his new space.
He would do well with adults and teenagers who were respectful of his boundaries and were experienced in reading signs of overstimulation in felines. Mustang has lived as an indoor only feline in his previous life and would like that to continue in his forever home. However, he could benefit from safe outdoor access, in the form of a secured cat run.
Mustang does not appear to read the body language of his fellow felines well and can be quite boisterous in wanting to engage in play. For this reason he would either thrive in a home as the only feline OR he could live with a friendly feline who has lived with other cats before who has boundaries to advise Mustang if he is getting too carried away.
