TATER IS LOOKING FOR A POTENTIAL PALLIATIVE CARE FOSTER HOME
We say potential palliative care, because we really do not know if our sassy 16 year old lady is going to have a long or a short time with us. Tater through no fault of her own was surrendered. At this point, she is a very happy, smoochy special-needs lady, who needs someone experienced to care for her and who will give her all the comfort and love during this time.
Tater has both renal failure and hyperthyroidism which means she will require her special vet prescription renal diet and medication administered twice daily. This is currently working well for her - and she definitely enjoys being in the presence of her special people in the cattery. We would like to give her the best of homes, for as long or short as her lovely life may be, and for as long as she continues to love life as much as she does and is comfortable with that arrangement.
Because of Tater's age, we would like to find a home to integrate her as seamlessly and with as minimal stress as possible. Tater would like her home to be a quiet one, where she can rest and recharge, have her snacks, enjoy cuddles, and a quiet spot to observe the happenings outside the home. Tater does not like other cats and would need a pet-free home. You will need to be able to transport Tater to any vet appointments, if/when she requires veterinary attention.
