Meet Clemence, a sweet but shy soul waiting to find her forever home!
Clemence was very fearful of humans when she arrived at SADS, but with time and patience she has made some promising progress. While she will likely always be on the timid side, if you're willing to learn her boundaries and work with her, we have no doubt this sweet lady will be worth the effort! Since being on foster, Clemence has made significant progress, becoming much more accustomed to living in a home environment.
Because of her timid nature, we feel it would be best for Clemence to join a quiet home without children or dogs. She doesn't mind the presence of other cats, though seems more content to observe rather than interact with them at this stage.
Clemence's foster carer notes that she is quite independent and a bit of a night owl; choosing to spend her day in the comfort of her bed (she will accept gentle head/ear scratches and treats from here) whilst coming out at night to enjoy some spirited play! Working with Clemence will be a rewarding experience, as you watch her grow in her journey of being a more confident feline!
