Meet Ayla, a beautiful Anatolian Shepherd with all the traits typical of her breed. She is a reserved and selective dog, especially around boisterous dogs, and has an old soul. Ayla would make a loyal companion to the right owner—someone with experience with her breed and a deep understanding of her needs. She came to the shelter very nervous, likely due to past experiences, and while she’s slowly gaining confidence, she will need a patient home willing to help her settle in and overcome her fears. We believe Ayla may have been used for breeding before, which could explain her reserved and cautious nature.
